County Road 542

WINCH ROAD - dated to 1882. Lies three miles southwest of Amity. It was named after the local railroad whistle-stop of the same name.

Index: a 40 ft. wide road is shown on UP #7, unrecorded plat of Broadmead. Prescriptive use only - no dedication, except to one 1937 deed along the northerly line of a platted (but undedicated) road.
