CRUICKSHANK ROAD - STRINGTOWN ROAD - dating to 1860 - Cruickshank road lies immediately east of the McMinnville Airport. James was the first Cruickshank to live in the area which was in the late 1890's. Stringtown road lies two miles south of Dayton. In the early 1900's, this was the name given the road by area residents.
